TIO Internal Communications Team receives global recognition for the TIO Radio program
The TIO Radio project was a live broadcast to employees, with a program put together by the Internal Communications Team, which included employees hosting, contributing and being interviewed. Radio segments included business news about current projects and initiatives, as well as light-hearted content including a musical performance by an employee and pre-recorded jingles advertising a team’s service to the organisation.
Communications and Engagement Consultant Femke Bertsché said, “Global recognition of the fun, exciting, and most importantly, impactful work I get to do every day in my job as an internal communications consultant is an overwhelming achievement. I feel so grateful for the TIO’s willingness to try something a bit out-of-the-box.”
“We decided to try this initiative because we wanted to keep our people informed about what was happening around the business, while also celebrating achievements, and hearing directly from our people. TIO Radio was a really fun way of bringing those goals together, in a format that worked for our diverse workforce.”
