As advised in MNews last month, the TIO is changing the way it receives member reclassification requests from today. These changes simplify the way you can lodge a request to reclassify a TIO complaint. The changes follow a successful trial with members of the new arrangements.
To make a reclassification request, simply fill out the online form via the Reclassification request page on our website.
A key feature of the new online Reclassification Request Form is the facility to upload documents that support your request.
Who will assess requests
All reclassification requests will now come through a single channel (via the online reclassification form) and this will be handled by specialised TIO officers. This streamlined process means your requests will be lodged and actioned centrally within our Dispute Resolution Division.
