When unitary governance and a single TIO Board was established in February 2014, it was decided that the Board would convene a discussion forum at least once every six months for the purpose of engaging with small telecommunications service providers.   

The Ombudsman has chaired forums, also attended by TIO Board members, in Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast. The discussions, feedback and engagement with small members has provided valuable insights into issues affecting small members. 

TIO members in Western Australia are invited to attend our next Small Member Forum with Acting Ombudsman Diane Carmody  and Board member Teresa Corbin  to discuss their experiences dealing with the TIO and to provide feedback on TIO services. Members will have an opportunity to raise and discuss issues in an informal environment and to hear first-hand from Diane and Teresa.
