Small businesses make more complaints to TIO

Complaints from small businesses about their telecommunications services increased 52 per cent in the last financial year, the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO) reports in the latest issue of TIO Talks, published today.

In other news reported in TIO Talks, overall complaints reduced 6 per cent in the final quarter of 2011. The TIO dealt with 48,100 new complaints between 1 October and 31 December 2011. In addition, investigations reduced by 73 per cent, as service providers and consumers responded positively to the TIO’s new conciliation process.
