Pay TV

All complaints about Pay Television fall outside of the TIO's jurisdiction because, according to current interpretation, Pay TV is not an "eligible carriage service".

As stated in the Telecommunications (Consumer Protection and Service Standards) Act 1999 (Part 6, Sections 127 and 128), only eligible carriers and carriage service providers need join the TIO Scheme.
