Paging services
Under Section 4.1 of its Constitution, the TIO has jurisdiction
over the provision of access to public electronic communication
networks.
While the TIO's jurisdiction with respect to paging services is by no
means clear at this time, it is possible that a paging service, like an
email service, could be considered to be a 'public electronic communications
network'; that is, a device through which (or over which) communications
take place.
