Domain name allocation

The TIO has no jurisdiction over the allocation of domain names because the allocation of a domain name is not related to the provision of access to the Internet or another public electronic communications network.

Complaints about entitlements to .au names are usually referred to Au Domain Administration Limited (auDA) at www.auda.org.au.

Service or billing complaints are referred to the customer's Registrar or to auDA if the Registrar has already had a chance to resolve the dispute.
