Mr John Pinnock has served the telecommunications industry for twelve years in his appointment as Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO). He will end his term as TIO, at the end of May 2007.
A press release yesterday announced Ms Deirdre O’Donnell’s appointment as the new TIO. She will begin work on 29 May 2007.
Ms Deirdre O’Donnell has previously worked at the TIO in her appointment as Deputy Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman. She was then appointed the State Ombudsman for Western Australia.
The Office of the TIO is sad to see Mr Pinnock leave but welcomes the
return of Ms O’Donnell, as the new TIO.
